She was predeceased by: her father Alexander McCain, Sr.; and her siblings, Coutelyou R. McCain, Willie L. McCain Lowman, Helen E. Poole, Esther M. Lee, Wendell "Red" McCain, Gyrod McCain, Alex "June" McCain, Mazie R. Dean and Sadie McCain Grice Pressley.
She is survived by: her daughter Lillian Grice of Durham, NC; her grandchildren, Gyrod Harris of Orlando, FL and Keisha Harris of Durham, NC; her great grandchildren, Shaun Foster of Durham and Aamir Foster of Durham; her niece Velma Lee of Mt. Vernon, NY; and her godson Darren Ottey of Roosevelt, NY. She is also survived by relatives and friends.
