It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anthony Long of Roxboro, North Carolina, who passed away on October 24, 2022, at the age of 45, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Earl, Barbara Hamlett and Rosalind Lea; and his brother-in-law Decarlos McGhee. He is survived by: his wife LaToya Newman Long; his son Antavian Long; his parents, Gordon Hamlette (Marchenia) and Joann Long of Roxboro; his siblings, LaTonya Lipscomb of Danville, VA, Conchata McGhee of Leasburg, NC, Luchana Hamlett of Roxboro, Gordon Antoine Hamlett of Leasburg, Patrick Hamlett of Burlington, NC and James Thomas of Roxboro; his brother-in-law Javius Newman of Roxboro; and his uncle Owen Thaxton (Stella) of Milton, NC. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
