He is survived by: his wife Luella Winstead; his son Lacharles Winstead (Kendra) of Fayetteville; his siblings, Elder Clyde Winstead (Martha) of Roxboro, Libby Bullock of Roxboro, Linda Boyd of Roxboro, Norma Parker of Roxboro, Dorothy Winstead of Roxboro, Ethel Motley of Roxboro and Michelle Johnson (Elder Bobby) of Prospect Hill; and his nephew Everette Motley of Roxboro. He is also survived by other nephews, nieces, other additional loving relatives and friends.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Cunningham & Associates Funeral Services (87 Brookland Church Rd, Roxboro, NC 27573). The lying in state was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
