She was predeceased by: her parents, Dorsey Clifton Riggs and Bernice May Massey Riggs; and her husband Jesse Lee Perry. She is survived by: her close friends, Carlene and Donny Harris. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Meadow View Cemetery (6165 US-15, Oxford, NC 27565).
