He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Dewey Brady and Dorothy Terrington Brady. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Whitfield Brady; his children, Robert "Rob" Christopher Brady (Beverly Hillard) of Durham and Amy Gerling (Lee) of Durham; his stepchildren, Bo Reed (Karen) of Dawsonville, GA and Kim Malin (Eric) of Westover, MD; his siblings, Brad Jody Brady (Candace), Brenda J. Barbee and Betty Joe Veasey (Jimmy); his grandsons, Dillon Brady and Travis Gerling; his stepgrandchildren, Brooks Reed, Davis Reed, Charlea Malin, Bryce Malin and Mason Reed; and his siblings-in-law, Amanda "Mandy" Garrett (Ronnie) and Corbin Whitfield (Leslie). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and special friends.
