He was predeceased by: his parents, Burlie Thomas Day Sr. and Louise Long Day; and his son Burley Thomas Day III. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Lorraine Eller Day; his children, J. Bradley Day (Pam) and Kimberlyn Day; and his grandchildren, McKendree Day Yeager, Barrett Day, Mary Catherine Day Melton and Leanna Day.
