It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Dean Trickey of Roxboro, North Carolina, who passed away on August 3, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Scott Tatum, Sr. and Lottie Alma Long Tatum; her husband Arthur Couch "AC" Trickey; and her siblings, Doris Davis, Louise Brewer, Ellen Montague, Estelle Cox, Joe Tatum, Jr., Clyde Tatum and Charles Tatum.
She is survived by: her children, David C. Trickey (Karen) of Roxboro, NC and Cheryl T. Tingen (David) of Roxboro, NC; her grandchildren, Kayleigh Trickey (Houston Hamilton) and Danielle Whitt (Austin); her great grandchild Tatum Claire Whitt; her stepgrandchildren, Blake Tingen, Michelle Tingen (Zeb, Jr.) and Preston Tingen; and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Zayden Barnette, Remington Barnette and Rebecah Barnette.
