Charles Hugo Ernst Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on May 26, 2023, at the age of 87, Charles Hugo Ernst of Roxboro, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugo F. Ernst and Gertrude Backhaus Ernst; his son Steven Ernst; and his sisters, Norma Jean Lyman, Bernadine Kragel and Jolene Hoefling.

He is survived by: his wife Gertraude Marie Ernst; his children, Jim Ernst (Ginger) of Simpsonville, SC and Pam Stallings (Greg) of Raleigh; his siblings, Marlene Harper of Iowa and Hugo "Butch" Ernst (Cynthia) of Arkansas; and his grandchildren, Jamee Ernst, Quinn Ernst, Jordan Stallings and Sam Stallings.
