He is survived by: his wife Linda Barrow Davis; his grandfather Clyde Puckett of Ringgold, VA; his children, Marie Abbott of Danville, VA, Jessica Abbott of Sutherlin, VA and Chris Abbott of Christiansburg, VA.; his grandchildren, Rhianna Taylor of Danville, VA, Lilianna Vogel of Danville, VA, Hayden Abbott of Christiansburg, VA, Miley Iahn and Maddie Iahn; his sister Charlotte Davis Collie (Chip) of Ringgold, VA; his nephew Eric Collie; and his niece Victoria Collie.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial donations be made to the National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation at PO Box 1848 Longmont, CO 80502.
