He is survived by: his daughters, Paula Paylor and Rhonda Williams; his grandchildren, James Yancey III, Kalil Jones, Denzel Williams, Christopher Williams and Amiaya Williams; and his siblings, Gloria P. Blackwell (Claude), Mary Hinton, Darlene Ingram, Glenda Little, Joyce Woods, Fred Paylor, Jr. (Mary Ann) and Curtis Paylor. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
