He is survived by: his daughter Iyanla Barnett of Timberlake; his sister Patricia Cardinez of Roxboro; his nieces, Rachel Cardinez of Greensboro and Latisha Cardinez of Mebane; his nephew Anthony Cardinez (Adrian) of Greensboro; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Chyna Cardinez of Sanford, Alisha Jennings of Greensboro, Camerin Cardinez of Greensboro, Bianca Clay of Mebane, Derrick Clay of Roxboro, Darius Clay of Mebane and Antonio Cardinez of Greensboro; his uncle Willie Barnett of Roxboro; and his aunts, Bettie Barnett (Frances Barnett), Betty Barnett of Philadelphia, Nannie McCrawford (Shirley Obie) and Thelma Bryant of Jamestown. He is also survived by cousins, other loving relatives and friends.
