He is survived by: his wife Lisa Hart Winstead; his children, Dave D. Winstead, Jr. (Chritara), Larry Winstead (Katrel), Danisha Winstead and Dakisha Winstead; his stepchildren, Latisha Beard and William Beard, Jr.; his siblings, Elder Clyde Winstead (Martha), Aubrey G. Winstead (Luella), Libby S. Bullock, Linda W. Boyd, Norma W. Parker, Dorothy E. Winstead, Ethel R. Motley and Michelle R. Johnson; and his parents-in-law, Rogers and Dorothy Hart. He is also survived by four sisters-in-law; one brother-in-law; and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Viewing will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Faith Temple United Holy Church (344 Broad Rd, Roxboro, NC 27573). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
