He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Dewey Duncan and Estelle Chandler; and his brother Donald Ray Duncan. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Groves Duncan; his daughter Valerie Duncan Stone (Floyd) of Timberlake; his siblings, Danny Duncan (Nancy), Kent Duncan (Kathy), Rose Groves, Myrtle Solomon (Roger) and Kay Blalock (Gary); and his grandchildren, Sara Day (Kolby) and Lindsey Whitt (Brent).
