He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Maness and Mabel Irene Saunders Tingen; and his brother Louis Maness Tingen, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Wendy Dee Long Tingen; his sons, Austin Tingen of Wilmington, NC and Jordan Tingen (Spencer Woody) of Apex, NC; his sisters, Karen Tingen of Roxboro, NC and Cheryl T. Gentry (Robert) of Roxboro, NC; and his parents-in-law, Rollie Dee and Linda Long.
