He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Todd Gentry and Margaret Mooney Gentry; his brother James Todd Gentry; and his pet Bullet. He is survived by: his wife Valerie Jones Gentry of Roxboro; his children, Steven Allen Gentry, Tina Gentry Jones (Rusty), Jess Arnold Gentry (Megan) and Brian Scott Summers; his sisters, Debra Braddy, Nancy Pittman, Teri Murphy (Thom), Jeanne Ellington (Keith), Bobbie House and Michelle Williams (Kelly); and his pet Junior. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A reception will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
