He was predeceased by: his parents, Aubrey Sanford and Elizabeth Wrenn Sanford. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Martin Sanford; his sons, Ben Sanford (Brad) of Portland, OR and Brian Sanford (Robin) of Roxboro; his siblings, Stevie Sanford (Denise) of Timberlake, Darryl Sanford (Trecia) of Roxboro and Brenda S. Parks of Garner; and his granddaughter Makayla Sanford.
