She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Carlton Gentry and Elizabeth Verna Melton Gentry; her husband Bert T. Dickerson; and her siblings, Carlton Stephen Gentry, Roy Allen Gentry and Shirley Gentry Knott.

She is survived by: her sons, Glenn T. Dickerson (Debbie), Douglas E. Dickerson (Darlene) and Dan T. Dickerson (Bonnie); and her sister Elsie Gentry Elliott. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter.

Due to COVID-19, no home visitation is planned.
