She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruben Earl and Florence Briggs Moore (late Jack "Buddy" Whitlock); and her siblings, Wilmer Moore and Kathleen Cox. She is survived by: her husband Ollie Keith Purnell; her daughters, Carol Whitlock of Georgia, Denise Mize (Lindsay) of Berea and Anna Horner (Mike) of Roxboro; her stepdaughters, Charlotte Shelley (Christian) of Roxboro and Cheryl Hughes (Ricky) of Roxboro; and her brother Russell Moore of Midlothian, VA. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
