She was predeceased by: her parents, Preston Davis and Elizabeth Lawson Davis; and her siblings, Brenda Davis Burton and DeAngelo Davis. She is survived by: her husband Michael Royster; her daughters, Shavonne Davis of Roxboro, Nichole Hughes of Raleigh, Whitney Evonne Hughes of Roxboro and Britney Hughes of Smithfield; her siblings, Decarlo Davis (Sandra) of Durham, Janice Crutchfield of Roxboro, Karen Wright (Martinez) of Roxboro and Edward Davis (Angel) of Roxboro; and her godsons, Dario Smith of Knightdale and Terry Williams (Jessica) of Roxboro. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and other loving relatives and friends.
The lying in state will be held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM and on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Cunningham & Associates Funeral Services (87 Brookland Church Rd, Roxboro, NC 27573). Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
