She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruthie Wrenn Long and Thomas Long; her husband John David Evans; her children, Barbara Ann Evans and Thomas Wayne Evans; and her siblings, Corkey Long, Willie Vance Long, Ida Ray and Myrtice Clayton.
She is survived by: her children, John Dayton Evans of Roxboro, Diane Whitlow of Roxboro, Gail Fuller of Roxboro, Donna Jean Harris of Oxford and Cindy Kidd of Roxboro. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
