She was predeceased by: her parents, John D. Painter and Lillian Day; her husband David Stone; her sister Betty Lou Thrift; her son Dennis David Stone; and her grandchild Layla Baker.
She is survived by: her siblings, Cathy Painter Perkins, Carolyn Painter Dunn, Barbara P. Zimmerman, Donnie Painter and George "PeeWee" Painter; her daughter Michele Gara Stone; her grandchildren, Brett Anderson, Diamond Jones, Gavin Leland, Emerald Jones, Jakob Stone, Christopher Baker and Brandi Leland; and her great grandchildren, Caleb Baker, Mason Jones and Jaxon Jones.
