He was predeceased by: his parents, Casey "Pete" Day and Martha Yarboro Day Ashley; and his son-in-law Brent Adcock. He is survived by: his wife Brenda; his daughters, Kim Whitt (Doyle) and Jo Lynn Atkins (Nic); his grandchildren, Daniel Adcock (Kelsey), Jared Adcock (Aija), Brooke Hawkins (Chandler) and Brody Strange; and his great grandchildren, Lydia, Raymond Adcock and Baby Boy Hawkins.
