It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Thomas Griles of Roxboro, North Carolina, who passed away on December 22, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Albert Griles and Ella Long Griles; his wife Shirley Howerton Griles; and his sister Marie Griles Reaves. He is survived by: his children, Thomas Griles (Ying) of Thailand, Rick Griles (Saralee) of Summerville, SC, Troy Griles (Tracy) of Graham and Trevor Griles (Laura) of China; his sister Delores Griles Dunn of Athens, AL; his grandchildren, Michael Griles (Katie) of Graham, Misty Griles of Graham and Kaden Griles of China; and his great grandchild Graham Griles. He is also survived by wife, laughing with family and friends.
