It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerre Simpson of Roxboro, North Carolina, who passed away on November 15, 2022, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Lawrence and Margaret Mary Gerken Fairchild; her spouse Hine Simpson, Jr.; her children, Kristopher Damien Simpson and Cindy Gail Oakley; and her granddaughters, Kaitlyn Shepherd, Makayla Leighanne Oakley and Mary Elizabeth Banks.
She is survived by: her daughters, Staci Daughrity of Roxboro, NC, Robin Daughrity Hatcher (Mike) of Roxboro, NC and Kelly Clayton (Keith) of Roxboro, NC; and her siblings, Sandra Bayman (Donald) and Guy Fairchild (Rene). She is also survived by seven grandchildren, four great grandchildren.
