She was predeceased by: her parents, Jessie Lamberth Clayton and Christine Ellis Clayton; her husband Billy Marshall Clayton, Sr.; and her siblings, Mary Magdalene Clayton, Ricky Wade Clayton, James Floyd Clayton and Jessie Raymond Clayton.
She is survived by: her children, Billy Marshall Clayton, Jr. (Annie) of Hillsborough, Connie Ray Clayton (Bobbi) of Roxboro and Randy Kim Clayton of Roxboro; her grandchildren, Shannon Clayton Lawson (Chad) and Amanda Clayton Harris (Scottie); her great grandchildren, Jaxon Lawson, Jordyn Lawson, Layla Harris and Lydia Harris; her sister Tina Clayton Long (Donnie); and her niece Barbara Jo Miller Sanford. She is also survived by other loving nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Brooks and White Funeral Home (907 Durham Rd, Roxboro, NC 27573).
