Harold Joseph Ryan Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on January 20, 2023, at the age of 98, Harold Joseph Ryan of Roxboro, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Ryan and Mary Broderick Ryan; his stepfather John Wesley; his wife Ellen Crowley Ryan; his daughter Teresa Ryan Tuttle; his sister Evelyn Sullivan; and his half-sister Rosemarie Kennedy.

He is survived by: his children, Maureen Allen (Richard Allen), Dr. Sheila Ryan (Lelia Gentry) and Mark Ryan (Gladys Garcia); his granddaughters, Kristen Mavraganis (Andrew) and Caitlin Allen Aydelott (Blaine); his great grandchildren, Derek Aydelott, Gavin Aydelott, Dean Mavraganis, Finley Mavraganis and Blake Mavraganis; and his nieces and nephews, Margaret Searles, John Dowling, Ralph Dowling, Kathi Todesco, Dianne Knox, Ruth Knox, John Fleming, Karen Boen, Michelle Quill, Carol Kennedy, Joseph Kennedy and Dierdre Kennedy. He is also survived by his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
