It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hazel Anette Wrenn of Roxboro, North Carolina, who passed away on November 22, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Jeffrey and Lula Annie Robinson Poole; her husbands, John Earl Wrenn and Johnnie Ragan; her daughter Brenda Gail Oakley Saunders; her brother James Linwood Poole; and her stepdaughter Melinda W. Davis.
She is survived by: her children, Ann O. Warren (Earl) of Roxboro, NC, Danny Oakley (Nancy) of Ringgold, VA and Robert L. Oakley of Roxboro, NC; her stepchildren, Wayne Wrenn (Sherry) and L. Duck Wrenn (Ricky Long); her grandchildren, Jennifer Claiborne, Breanna Warren, Preston Warren, Elizabeth Stowe, Amelia Oakley, Eli Oakley, Sara Oakley and Drew Heath; and her sister Phyliss Winstead. She is also survived by three step-grandchildren, and three step-great grandchildren.
