She was predeceased by: her parents, Kirby Atlas Keen and Katie Thornton Keen; her husband Carlton Parker; her siblings, Max Keene, Percy Keene, Russell Keene, Dallas Keene, Billy Keene, Melba Tart and Jewell Thornton; and her son Billy Parker.
She is survived by: her sons, Robert Parker (Carolyn) and John Parker (Bobbie); her sisters, Thelma Johnson and Faye Betts; and her grandchildren, Frankie, Lisa, Krystle, Robin, Michael and Jennifer.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that all memorials be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 11796 , Charlotte, NC 28220.
