With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Herman Jerry Martin (Roxboro, North Carolina), who passed away on May 4, 2022 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Wilson and Gladys Carver Martin; his wife Dorothy Whitt Martin; and his sister Judith M. Cox. He is survived by: his children, Wayne Martin (Janie) of Roxboro and Kathy Lankford (Ronald) of Roxboro; his grandchildren, Christopher Lankford (Casey), April Lankford, Ashley Porterfield (Andrew), Michael Martin (Kaitlin), Hope O'Brien (Kyle) and Jeremy Martin; and his brother-in-law William Fred Cox, Jr.. He is also survived by two nieces and one nephew.
