He was predeceased by: his parents, Marilynn Rogers and Franklin Rogers; and his brother William Rogers. He is survived by: his wife Katie Melton Rogers; his sons, David (Cheri), Steven (Jennifer), Richard (Tami), Timothy (Tara) and Chip Wilkins (Dana); and his sister Vicki (Robert). He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
