She was predeceased by: her parents, Coy Laws and Lilly Long Laws; her son Larry Dean Clayton; and her sister Frances Lunsford Barwick. She is survived by: her children, Geraldine Clayton Dixon, Stearlyn Clayton Bloom, Darvel Laws Clayton, Elbert Coy Clayton of Timberlake and Daphany Elaine Knight of Cheraw, SC. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
