Janie Neathery Day Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janie Neathery Day (Roxboro, North Carolina), who passed away on January 30, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Thomas Neathery and Mavin Briggs Neathery Henderson. She is survived by: her husband David Atwill Day; her children, Derek Day (Amy) and Janine Day Thomas (Jimmy); her grandchildren, Drake Day (Kaitlyn), Drew Day, David Thomas and Ashley Thomas; her sister Estelle N. Gentry; her stepsiblings, Vernon, Faye and Gene; and her caregivers, Clara Sehen, Juanita Gray and Tammy Locklear.
