She was predeceased by: her parents, Trojan Baxter Grinstead, Sr. and Annie Wrenn Grinstead; her husband Elder Charles B. Davis, Jr. (C. B.); her siblings, Chesley Grinstead (Eva), Julia G. Jones (Linwood), Melba G. Horton (Tom), Trojan Baxter Grinstead, Jr. (Alice) and H. Pasco Grinstead (Betty); and her sons, Larry G. Davis and Bobby E. Davis.
She is survived by: her children, Charles B. Davis III of Roxboro, James N. Davis (Faye) of Raleigh and Barbara D. Lockhart (Errol) of Roxboro; and her children-in-law, Irene Davis of Beaufort, Sandra Davis of Roxboro, Rene Powell (Gary) of Roxboro and Ron Phipps (Sharon) of Roxboro. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
