We are sad to announce that on September 21, 2025, at the age of 37, Jessica Sade Nelson of Roxboro, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her brother Ernest "Pete" Clifton; her grandparents, Margaret Jones, Leroy and Leona Clifton; and her father-in-law Tedinol Nelson.
She is survived by: her husband Taylor Nelson; her children, Kennedy, Christian, Tyler and Taylor; her parents, Sharon McNeil of Henderson and Jonathan McNeil (Lisa) of Durham; her grandmother Geraldine McNeil of Henderson; her siblings, Sharitta McGhee (Frank) of Roxboro, Jacquetta Wilson of Henderson, Jonathan McNeil, Jr. (Natalie) of Roxboro and Terrell Alston (Tabitha) of Henderson; and her brothers-in-law, Bruno Nelson of Fort Lauderdale, Rony Palicier of Fort Lauderdale and Oberd Ladiny of New York. She is also survived by loving relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Cunningham & Associates Funeral Services (87 Brookland Church Rd, Roxboro, NC 27573). The lying in state will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Zion Christian Center (2850 Virgilina Rd, Roxboro, NC 27574). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
