He was predeceased by : his parents, Monroe Douglas and Mary Belle Walker Bowes; his wife Elizabeth Walker Bowes; and his brothers, Edmond Walker, Birch Bowes and Wayne Bowes.
He is survived by : his children, Neal Thomas Bowes and Tina Faye Bowes; and his sister Mary B. Bowling. He is also survived by three grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces & nephews.
