He is survived by: his sons, John Curtis "Curt" O'Brien, Jr. (Darlene) of Roxboro, NC and Dwayne Benford O'Brien of Roxboro, NC; his grandchildren, Kyle Shelton O'Brien and Brendon Josh O'Brien; his great grandchildren, Hunter James O'Brien, Payton Elizabeth O'Brien and Zoey Blair O'Brien; and his brother Darrell O'Brien (Shirley).
