He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Russell "Skinner" and Lorene Mae Dixon Turner; his wife Patsy Rose Davis Turner; his children, Tammy T. Carver (Rocky) of Roxboro, NC and Mark Turner of Roxboro, NC; his grandchildren, Noah Carver and Grey Carver; his sister Susan T. Schaeffer (Don) of Wake Forest, NC; his niece Kynlon Schaeffer; and his nephew Brooks Schaeffer.
