He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Franklin Keeton and Gracie Elliott Keeton; and his siblings, Melvin Keeton, Ida K. Waldrop, Joyce Keeton, Mary K. Pruitt, Diana Duncan and Shirley Keeton.
He is survived by: his children, Joseph Allen Keeton Jr. (Lisa) of Buffalo Junction, VA, James Alvin Keeton (Leslie) of Roxboro, NC, Gracie Keeton Casstevens (Dwayne) of Roxboro, NC, Rachel Keeton of Roxboro, NC and Margaret Keeton Terry (Richard) of Henderson, NC.. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Calendar Watkins Cooper Lyon Funeral Home Chapel (703 Virginia Ave, Clarksville, VA 23927). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
