She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Hill and Faye Olive Florence; and her husband Charles Lewis Higgins, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Charles Higgins, Jr. (Susan) and Keevin Higgins. She is also survived by four grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family asks memorials be made to Long Memorial United Methodist Church or to St. Jude's Cancer Center for Children, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
