She was predeceased by: her father Lawrence Edward Akers. She is survived by: her mother Ardine Layman Akers; her husband Marvin Painter; her son Zachary Painter (family: Laura Bryant); her grandsons, Cameron and Jackson; and her siblings, Emilene Baker (Ken), Edward Akers Jr. (Zoya), John Akers (Dana) and Bonnie Firebaugh. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws, nieces, and nephews.
