She was predeceased by: her parents, Elbert Anthum and Bernice Walker Bowes; and her brother Bernard Bowes. She is survived by: her spouse A. D. Sonny Duncan; her children, Gail D. Ladd (Doug) of Rougemont, NC, Kim Henderson (George) of Leasburg, NC and David Duncan (Tammy) of Roxboro, NC; her grandchildren, Jamie Henderson (Julie), Jake Ladd, Brooke Ferrell, Carson Duncan and Zachary Duncan; her great grandchildren, Harper Ladd, Cora Henderson and Tessa Henderson; her siblings, R. Wayne Bowes (Connie) and Linda Duncan (O. C.); her sister-in-law Linda Bowes of Roxboro, NC.; and her sons-in-law, Carson Duncan, Zachary Duncan, George Henderson, Jamie Henderson, Doug Ladd and Jake Ladd.
