She was predeceased by: her parents, James Henry and Mira Katherine Murray Blalock; her husband Grover Alvah "Pee Wee" Whitfield, Jr.; her granddaughters, Skyler Maeann Emore, Dakota Leann Shepherd and Kaitlyn Anne Shepherd; and her brother-in-law Terry Hargis.
She is survived by: her daughters, Suzy W. Shepherd (Curtis) and Kelli W. Emore; her grandchildren, J. T. Whitlow (Keeley), Justin Whitlow and Krista Knight (Mike); her great grandchildren, Isabella Solomon and A. J. Knight; her siblings, Beverly B. Hargis and James "Jimmy" Blalock; her sisters-in-law, Debbie Sue Clayton (Tim) and Becky Rudd; Rebecca Mooney.
