It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Katie Lou Rimmer of Roxboro, North Carolina, who passed away on September 28, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Ivy and Macie Bell Whitfield Stone; her husband Donald Lee Rimmer; her granddaughter Angela Dixon Roach; and her siblings, James Stone, Franklin Stone, Dennie Stone, Mary Sue Edwards, Bessie B. Bowes and Ella Miller.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Stone of Roxboro, NC, Sharon Gail Bumstone (Teresa) of Rickman, VA, Michael H. Hammock of Roxboro, NC and Lillian H. Hahn of Roxboro, NC. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
