He was predeceased by: his parents, George Kenneth and Eunice Blanche Crabtree Briggs; and his sibling Mickey Jerry Briggs. He is survived by: his son Mike Briggs; his siblings, Billy Michael Briggs, Ricky Cary Briggs, Connie Yvonne Stanley and Marie Clayton; his grandchildren, Brittini, Paisley and Wyatt; and his great grandchild Remi.
