It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Larry Mitchell Dixon of Roxboro, North Carolina, born in Beaufort, North Carolina, who passed away on April 5, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Kenneth Barrow Dixon and Daisy Belle Langley Dixon; his wife Lillie Marie Roberson Dixon; his son Alexander "Al" Dixon; and his siblings, Rudoulf Dixon, Donald Dixon, Benjamin "Ben" Dixon, Horace Dixon and Zee Dixon.

He is survived by : his sons, Mike (Janet Dixon), Dave (Jackie Dixon) and Jeff (Tammie Dixon); his grandchildren, Gabrielle "Gabe" Dixon, Gage (Rocio Dixon), Gabrielle Long, Carrie Garbade, Jeffrey (Shelby Dixon), Jordon Dixon and Jennifer (Chase Garrett); and his great grandchildren, Thomas Acosta, Alivia Bohanon, Carah Bohanon, Luna Garbade and Whitney Dixon.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Brooks and White Funeral Home (907 Durham Rd, Roxboro, NC 27573). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
