With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lawrence Wayne Melton Sr. of Roxboro, North Carolina, who passed away on January 26, 2023 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Andrew and Mattie Lee Lowery Melton; his wife Rosalind Ann Wagner Melton; and his daughter Alesia Gail Melton. He is survived by: his children, Vivian Melton Thompson, Lawrence Wayne "Larry" Melton, Jr. (Angie Mooney), Andrew Stevens Melton and Brian Wayne Melton; his siblings, Hilda Jean Wrenn (John) and Cecil Melton (Carolyn); and his great grandchildren, William Thompson (Jennifer), Doug Thompson (Jenna), Jennifer Thompson (Kyle), Ashley Litchfield, Heather Ellington (Andy), Taylor Potts (Michael), Bryce Thompson, Norah Thompson, Juniper Bailey, Cooper Ellington, Easton Ellington, Lucas Potts and Carter Potts.
