He was predeceased by: his father Leamon Joseph Dixon, Sr.. He is survived by: his mother Dorothy Morris Taylor; his wife Karen Harris Dixon of Roxboro; his children, Joseph Brandon Dixon (Laura) of Burlington and Kaitlin Dixon Baugh (James) of Roxboro; and his siblings, Tommie Wayne Taylor (Terri) of Roxboro, Phyllis Dixon Sanford of Roxboro, Judy Shepard (Ronnie) of Roxboro and Bonnie Tuck of Roxboro.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks memorials be made to the Triple Springs Baptist Church Cemetery, P.O. Box 1927, Roxboro, NC 27574, or Hock Pavilion, 4023 N. Roxboro St, Durham, NC 27704.
