With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lucy Jane Poole of Roxboro, North Carolina, who passed away on October 19, 2022 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Spurgeon Grover and Evelyn Puryear Stigall; her husband John Knight Poole, Sr.; and her siblings, Jeanette Clack, Helen Young, Sylvia Hightower and Steve Stigall.
She is survived by: her children, Jimmie E. Poole (Eady) of Rocky Mount, NC, John K. "Johnny" Poole, Jr. of Hillsborough, NC and Sandi P. Hughes (Donnie) of Halifax, VA; her grandchildren, Jay Poole (Hania), Heath Crews, Seth Poole and Lesli Tuck (Justin); her great grandchildren, Sophie Poole, Jack Poole and Reed Tuck; and her sister Margie Tingen.
