She was predeceased by: her parents, Kennie Gentry and Jannie Carrington Gentry; and her siblings, Kenzee Whitt, Robert Gentry, Joseph Gentry and William Gentry.
She is survived by: her daughter Beverly Gentry-Woods (Richard) of Roxboro; her granddaughters, Makayla and Khaliah Woods of Roxboro; her great grandchild Karcyn A. Woods of Roxboro; her siblings, Gloria Gentry of Roxboro, Dorothy Chandler of Roxboro, Violet Cook of Roxboro, James Gentry (Helen) of Roxboro and Walter Dillehay of Roxboro; and her siblings-in-law, Annie Gentry of Roxboro and George Whitt of Roxboro. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving relatives and friends.
