She was predeceased by: her parents, Lem Carver and Lonie Tingen Carver (late Robert Lester Chambers); her daughter Rose Maria Holder; and her siblings, Macie Carver, Pearlie Walker, Lottie Taylor, Katie Hamlett, Otha Carver, Dewey Carver and Lewis Pergerson.
She is survived by: her children, Rev. Barry Chambers (Marie) of Roxboro, Kathy Chambers Wrenn of Roxboro and Robbie Lynn Chambers (Sally) of Roxboro; and her grandchildren, Joel Holder (Joanna), Brian Holder (Jennifer), Lynette Dunkley (Joe), Jonathan Chambers, David Chambers, Chad Wrenn, Jason Wrenn (Tamara), Lauren Davis (Joseph) and Kristen Chambers. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
